I help clients discover, document, and improve how they create, accumulate, and deliver value to customers and other stakeholders. I simplify complexity. I remove roadblocks. I improve management.
My work involves talking, consulting, thinking, presenting, and writing about analysis, innovation, improvement, and management of business processes., i.e. about sustained high performance of organizations.
I help small and large organizations to understand the potential, and realize the practical benefits, of process thinking and management.
My clients take me to many places, organization types, and national cultures. I have delivered courses, run workshops, chaired conferences, and completed consulting assignments in Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Jordan, Nigeria, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, UK, and the USA.
I write extensively about process-based management. I am a regular columnist at BPTrends and the Business Rules Journal, author of Practical Process (2013), co-author of Establishing the Office of Business Process Management (2011), and I contributed the chapter Business Process Standardization in The International Handbook on BPM (2010, 2015). With Paul Harmon, I edited Questioning BPM? (2016). My book, Reimagining Management, was published in early 2017, and in the same year, Process Precepts involved a global team discussing the process of management.
Thanks for your interest. I’d be delighted to discuss possibilities with you.
